Avoiding Duplicate Charts During Re-Migration

Modified on Wed, Jul 9 at 9:02 AM

If you’re a Legacy user re-migrating your charts and profile pictures into TimePassages 3.0, here are two ways to avoid creating duplicate charts:

✅ Option 1:

Delete existing charts before re-migrating

  • If you still have access to your Legacy App with all your original charts, you can safely delete all charts from your 3.0 account first, then re-run the migration.

  • This ensures only the updated charts (and profile pictures) are imported.

✅ Option 2:

Create a new 3.0 account

  • If you’re unsure about deleting or want a clean import, simply create a new account using a different email address and migrate your charts there.

⚠️ Note: Re-migrating into an existing 3.0 account that already has charts can result in duplicate entries with no simple way to merge or clean them—especially if you have many charts.
