Migrating from the Legacy Pro App (formerly the $29.99 Pro App)

Modified on Wed, Jul 9 at 9:01 AM

The migration process from the Legacy Pro App to TimePassages 3.0 is now fully available. If you haven’t migrated yet, now is the time!

What You’ll Need:

  • Your Legacy Pro App (blue crescent moon icon)

  • The latest version of that app: 2.9.14 (Migration is only available on version 2.9.14)

How to Migrate:

  1. Open the TimePassages Legacy Pro App.

  2. Go to the Settings page.

  3. Select “Continue” or “Restart Migration to 3.0” — this will appear as the first option under Settings.

  4. Carefully review the pop-up screens during the migration process.

Note: The Legacy apps didn’t require login credentials. In TimePassages 3.0, you’ll need to create an account using an email and password of your choice.

Already made a 3.0 account? Simply log in using your existing credentials.

If you try to log in or reset your password and find yourself stuck in a loop, it likely means the system can’t find an account associated with the email you’ve entered. This usually happens if:

  • You used a different email when creating your account, or

  • You haven’t created a 3.0 account yet

We recommend double-checking your email or signing up if you haven’t already.

What Happens Next:

  • Your charts will migrate seamlessly into the new TimePassages 3.0 app.

  • Once migration is complete, your chart data will be stored securely in the cloud and available across your mobile devices.

  • While Syncing:

    • If your charts don’t appear immediately, don’t worry!

Syncing happens in the background and may take a few minutes.

    • You can continue using the app while syncing completes.

    • Important:

      • Keep the TimePassages 3.0 app awake and open on your phone!

      • Do NOT log out of the app

      • Do NOT delete the app

until syncing is finished — this will interrupt the process.

Optional: Manual Backup

Although not required for migration, both the Legacy Pro and Free apps offer manual chart backup options as a fail-safe. You can create a backup file and save it to iCloud or your phone. Click here to learn how.
