If you previously purchased the TimePassages Legacy Pro App for $29.99 or the Free App chart packages for $9.99, this article explains what to expect with the new version and why we’ve moved to a subscription model.
Legacy App Purchases
We are no longer supporting the one-time purchase options previously available through the Legacy TimePassages Pro App ($29.99) or the Free App chart packages ($9.99).
As of January 31, TimePassages has fully transitioned to a subscription-based model. The promotional free year of subscription for Legacy purchasers also ended on that date.
Availability of the Legacy App
The Legacy TimePassages app is being removed from the App Store and will no longer be available for new downloads.
However, if you purchased the Legacy app before it was removed, you will continue to have access to download it from your App Store purchase history, using the same Apple ID. This allows you to reinstall the app if you change phones or need to set up a new device, provided the app remains compatible with your iOS version.
Why We Moved to a Subscription Model
We know change can be frustrating, and this transition was not taken lightly. Here’s why it was necessary:
The original app couldn’t keep up with evolving device and software requirements.
It lacked cloud-based features like saving charts to an account.
Without updates, the old app risked being removed from platforms like Apple.
A subscription model helps us deliver regular updates, requested features, and long-term support.
To continue offering a modern, stable, and secure experience, we rebuilt the app from the ground up—and subscriptions are how we can sustain that effort.
