We want to take a moment to genuinely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support, patience, and kindness during this exciting but challenging time. The massive response to our new mobile app has been humbling, and it’s clear how much you care about TimePassages. We’ve seen how much the past few days have impacted you, and we hear you. We know that changing the app that many of you have used for years is a big deal, and you may be experiencing disappointment or frustration—please know we’re dedicated to making it right and working hard on solutions.
We want to take the time to communicate clearly and in-depth about what's happening with our mobile app so you can be fully informed. While the following message is long, please take the time to read through it so you can be fully aware of the current state of your TimePassages app!
As a team of just eight passionate individuals—connected through both family ties and a shared love of astrology—we’ve poured our hearts into creating and maintaining this app for over a decade. Almost all of us have been here for the majority of our careers (some for over 20 years!), inspired by a shared love for astrology and a dedication to providing high-quality tools to support you in your Astrological studies and personal discovery. This is our first major iPhone upgrade since launching in 2012, and while we knew it was a big step, it was necessary for our tiny team to keep innovating, offering you the best astrology experience possible, and continue to be in service to the astrological community.
The excitement surrounding the 3.0 release has been overwhelming—so much so that our servers weren’t quite ready for the surge of users syncing their charts! This led to temporary issues with syncing, logins, and subscriptions. To stabilize functionality across platforms, we’ve had to make the tough decision to temporarily disable syncing for iPhone users and pause availability in the Apple App Store. Rest assured, this is only temporary, and we’re working tirelessly to resolve these challenges and bring the features back soon.
To Our Long-Time iPhone Customers:
We appreciate you more than words can express. We’ve offered the same app at the same price for over a decade, and this transition to a subscription model allows us to continue growing, innovating, and delivering features like Solar Returns, Composite Charts, an updated Learning Section, and more. For those who’ve purchased Unlimited Features or the Pro App, we’re honoring your loyalty with a free year of TimePassages 3.0. A free version of the app remains available, with chart purchases starting at just $0.99. Your birth chart, its interpretations, and your Daily Horoscope are always free!
Here’s what iPhone users need to know:
• Your charts are safe; just don’t delete the app! Your charts will sync to the cloud once we have fixed the syncing feature.
• What do I do if I deleted the app? Please hang tight. We have an update that will be available soon. Once that is available, download the app and try again. If you still have issues, please contact support@timepassages.app and we can help you resolve it.
• If I previously bought a $9.99 Upgrade from the Free App or the $29.99 Legacy Pro App, why don’t I see my free year subscription? If you’re eligible for a free year or purchased a subscription but can’t access features, hold tight! The server is working overtime to process everything.
• Why is it not available in my country?
It will be! We paused the rollout, and that’s why you cannot access the app right now.
• Why don’t I see the app or update in the App Store? We paused the rollout temporarily, so only some users with automatic updates may have received it. We will be returning it to the app store as soon as possible.
• I am a Legacy Pro App User. What can I expect? We will be rolling out the 3.0 app slowly to you over the coming weeks. Don’t delete your Legacy Pro App! You will be prompted into a migration process to transfer all of your charts to the new 3.0 app and receive a free year subscription to honor your Pro status. If you already download the 3.0 app from the app store, you can use it. Don't delete the older TimePassages App. You will need that to migrate your charts when syncing is available.
Astrology & Timing:
You may be wondering why we chose to launch during some stormy astrological weather. It wasn’t ideal, but after three years of preparation, we couldn’t wait any longer. Sometimes, even challenging transits hold lessons in resilience and growth—something we’re experiencing firsthand! One thing we took greatly into consideration is the period of back-to-back personal planet retrogrades (that’s right, Mercury, Mars, and Venus!) from November 25th until early April 2025—and waiting until after that was not an option for us.
Community Guidelines:
Remember that we are just eight humans. It takes time to resolve these fixes, answer questions, and update our communities online. We value your feedback and constructive dialogue, but please maintain a respectful tone in our inboxes and comment sections. Comments containing personal attacks or inappropriate language will not be tolerated. With that said, most of you have been so wonderful and kind. We appreciate your patience and good thoughts through this transition.
