What are Essential Dignities and how do I view them in Mac?

The essential dignities are a traditional technique that have survived in modern practice as the terms rulership, exaltation, detriment, and fall.  Each planet has a sign or signs that it rules.  In the opposite sign, you will find that same planet's detriment; similarly for exaltation and (in the opposite sign) for fall. We are planning to add more to Essential Dignities in the future.

You can find these described in TimePassages (Mac) for a particular chart under consideration by looking in:  

1. Display menu in the toolbar
2. scroll down to Special Reports
3. click on House Rulers and Planetary Dispositions
