Network Error 9 - Authentication Required

Modified on Fri, May 16 at 2:44 PM

What it means:

This error usually indicates an authentication issue—often due to an expired session, which is a built-in security feature from Apple.

✅ How to Fix It:

  1. Open the app and go to the Settings tab.

  2. Tap Your Account.

  3. If a login screen appears, log back in to refresh your session.

❓ Don’t Have an Account or Can’t Log In?

No problem. Here’s why:

  • The older Legacy apps didn’t require a login.

  • When you updated to TimePassages 3.0, you didn’t have an existing account to log into.

➡️ What to Do:

During setup in TimePassages 3.0, you’ll be asked to create a new account using an email and password of your choice. Once you do, you can log in and continue using the app normally.
