If you’re using the TimePassages 3.0 iOS app and find yourself stuck in a loop when trying to reset your password, it may be because you haven’t created a TimePassages 3.0 account yet.
Why this happens
The Legacy version of the TimePassages app didn’t require an account to use Pro features. If you’re updating from the Legacy app to TimePassages 3.0, this may be your first time encountering the account system.
When you tap “Forgot Your Password” in the 3.0 app, the app tries to send a reset link to the email address you entered—but if there’s no account associated with that email, you won’t receive anything. The reset process will continue to loop without displaying an error message.
How to fix it
If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll need to do so before you can log in or reset a password.
Open the TimePassages 3.0 app on your iPhone.
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap Your Account.
Tap Create Account, and follow the prompts to set up a new account using any email and password you like.
Once your account is created, you’ll be able to log in, access your Pro features, and reset your password if needed in the future.
