Mac 6.6.0 (14) Release Notes
New Features & Improvements
TimePassages is Now a Universal App!
The TimePassages app now runs natively on both Intel and Apple M-series chips (M1, M2, M3, etc.).
No need for Rosetta! This update also resolves certain startup crashes on Apple Silicon devices.
North and South Node Interpretations
We added aspect interpretations in natal charts for planets with the Lunar Nodes.
Easier Single Planet Aspect Selection
Cmd-Click on a planet now directly activates Single Planet Aspect mode, highlighting aspects to only that planet.
As previously, this feature is also available under Display > Single Planet Aspects, which puts the Single Planet feature into hover mode.
Hover mode lets you move the mouse over different planets until left-clicking locks in your selection.
New Half-Day Animation Step
A new animation step allows you to move half a day forward or back, flipping AM or PM to reverse if using a 12-hour clock; in other words, adds or subtracts 12 hours.
Shortcut: Cmd-3 or Opt-Cmd-3
Automatic Software Update Notifications
The software now automatically checks for updates on startup. You can also manually check for updates in the TimePassages menu.
Moon Phase Report Added
Moon Phase report is now available under Display > Reports, providing deeper insights into this particular entail chart.
Updated Online Manual
The Help > Online Manual now correctly directs users to the latest online version instead of a local file.
The Desktop Manual 2025 has been added for reference.
New Font for Clearer Astrology Symbols
The new TimePassages font is now the default, replacing CelesteAG. This improves the clarity of astrology symbols across the software.
New Chart Color Options
A new color palette has been introduced with an option to use muted chart colors for a softer look.
Improved Aspect Descriptions
The Aspect Orbs dialog clarifies that “inconjunct” referencing the 150-degree aspect can also be termed “quincunx”.
Aspect glyphs have been adjusted without color to stand out better from aspect lines.
