There are free updates for every development cycle. Right now, we're on TimePassages Version 6 and have no immediate plan to release a Version 7. If and when we do release Version 7, it won't be for some time and it would only be a partial payment for the upgrade, not full price, as is customary for us. Any updates that are released for Version 6 are free updates.
