Error 9 – Authentication Required
Error 9 typically indicates an authentication issue, often caused by an expired session (a security feature from Apple). To resolve this, please try the following:
Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
Tap on Your Account.
If a login screen appears, please log back in to refresh your session.
Don’t have an account or can’t log in?
If the app doesn’t recognize your email address—or you don’t remember ever creating a login—that’s completely expected. You were using one of our older Legacy versions of TimePassages, which did not require an account. So when you updated to TimePassages 3.0, you didn’t have an account to log into.
As part of the new setup process, you’ll be prompted to create a new account using an email and password of your choice. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to log in and continue using the app.
